Role: Administrative Assistant – Intermediate Location: Calgary, Alberta – Onsite Job Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support Appeals Officers and Hearing Chairs in a government environment. The role involves hearing coordination, document management, stakeholder communication, and maintaining accurate records and statuses. Key Responsibilities Coordinate hearings, meetings, and teleconference/video conference sessions. Prepare and distribute correspondence and appeal documents. Maintain document indexes, records, and status updates. Support participants and troubleshoot hearing-related issues. Proofread, format, and prepare decision documents for publication. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Requirements High School Diploma/GED. 3+ years of relevant administrative experience. 3+ years working with clients/stakeholders and business/technical teams. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Government/public-sector, legal, tribunal, appeals, or WCB experience is an asset.
