Job Description The Challenge We are looking for an Accounting and Office Administrator who will help manage day-to-day office tasks. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented multi-tasker with excellent organizational and communication skills. If you are prepared to roll up your sleeves to achieve the Accounting and Office Administrator objectives, this position is for you! Responsibilities Accounting Handle payroll, including maintaining accurate records and liaising with payroll provider Assist with bookkeeping and recording of financial transactions of the company Proactively invoice and follow-up with clients Manage accounts payable and follow-up on accounts receivable Provide professional HR support to help with definition and communication of office policies Implement relevant accounting and admin process improvements Assist with the tax and funding research work Undertake other duties assigned from time to time by the firm Office coordination Manage general office operations, including purchasing of office supplies, handling incoming shipments, and coordinating IT and maintenance requests. Coordinate onboarding of new employees Manage office equipment and supplies Plan team lunches and stock the kitchen Plan and coordinate activities and events - team building activities, company dinners and other networking events.
