The Finance Clerk is responsible for managing property tax billing, collections, and reconciliation processes in accordance with municipal legislation. They also provide administrative support to the treasury department and serve as a primary point of contact for public inquiries regarding taxation.

Administer property taxation, including billing, collections, arrears, account maintenance, reconciliations, deposits, payment plans, tax certificates, and tax adjustments. Respond to public inquiries and coordinate with property owners, MPAC, consultants, government agencies, and municipal staff on assessment matters, appeals, and tax sale processes.
