The company, who is constantly evolving, is investing massively to improve its plants, notably with a cutting-edge technology that increase efficacy, health and safety, and worker's efficiency, Global Mission of the position Under the supervision of the Procurement Specialist, the Inventory Control, Receiving & Shipping Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, documenting, storing, and controlling inventory of materials, supplies, parts, and equipment used in lumber mill operations. Personal Qualities sought ✅ Physical fitness ✅ Assiduous ✅ Autonomous ✅ Accountable and dependable YOUR BIG RESPONSABILITIES Committed to a top performance in a safe work environment • Receive, inspect, document, and store incoming materials and supplies • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts and audits • Monitor stock levels and investigate inventory discrepancies • Support purchasing activities and provide backup procurement coverage • Organize warehouse operations and safely operate material-handling equipment • Coordinate shipping, repairs, warranty returns, and vendor communications • Track fuel usage and generate weekly/monthly reports • Follow up on outstanding supplier orders and reorders Performs other duties as assigned to be deemed in the best interest of the organization. Skills Emphasized: • Communication • Computer proficiency • Organization • Problem-solving • Critical analysis • Mathematics and reporting • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSETS - TECHNICAL KNOLEDGE AND GENERIC SKILLS • High school diploma or GED. • 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stores management, receiving, or procurement support. • Experience using ERP, CMMS, or inventory management systems • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and remain on your feet for extended periods. • Ability to operate an electric pallet jack Preferred •Post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field. •Experience in manufacturing, forestry, sawmill, lumber, or industrial environments.
