Job summary
Leduc Co-op is currently recruiting an Agro Clerk to join our team at our Leduc Agro Centre. If you enjoy providing excellent customer service, working in a hands-on environment, and supporting local farms, acreages, and rural communities, we would love to hear from you. This role is especially well suited to someone who is farm-oriented, understands agricultural needs, and is comfortable serving customers in a rural and agricultural setting. What you’ll do: * Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to customers * Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases, with a focus on farm, acreage, and agricultural needs * Stock, face, and organize merchandise in the store, warehouse, and yard * Receive, handle, and store inventory appropriately * Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately * Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and safety standards throughout the facility * Support daily operational duties as assigned * Work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Who you are: * You have strong customer service and communication skills * You are farm-oriented and knowledgeable about agricultural, farm, or acreage environments * You understand the needs of farmers, acreage owners, and rural customers * You are dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team * You are comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting heavy merchandise * You are committed to workplace safety and maintaining a clean, organized environment * You are willing to work in a fast-paced setting and adapt to changing priorities * Previous retail, warehouse, agricultural, or farm-related experience is considered a strong asset * Forklift experience or certification is considered an asset Why work with us: Leduc Co-op is proud to be a community-minded business that serves and supports our local area.
