Sanitize animal and procedure rooms, prepare rooms for animal arrivals, and carry out animal arrivals and restraints. Collect waste and soiled materials while following Good Laboratory Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee requirements.

Maintain clean animal rooms and cages to high animal-welfare standards, and handle laboratory animals with care. Assist Animal Health Technicians and support the animals' physical and social activities.
