As a Primary Care Network, we work alongside hundreds of family doctors (our members) to support the patient-doctor relationship and provide programs and services at no cost to doctor or patient. As the Administrative Assistant, Corporate Governance, you’ll provide administrative and coordination support for the CWC PCN’s corporate governance, Board and committee activities, accreditation readiness, and risk governance programs. You’ll coordinate meetings, schedules, records, documentation, communications, action tracking, and member administration to support effective and organized governance practices. This role is primarily a work-from-home position with occasional in-person responsibilities; therefore, the successful candidate must be located within the Calgary Zone or the surrounding area (e.g., Cochrane, Canmore, Airdrie, etc.). Responsibilities Board and risk governance, councils, and committee coordination Coordinate Board, council, and committee meeting schedules, agendas, deadlines, meeting materials, and logistics. Maintain Board and committee records, action trackers, membership information, corporate filings, and governance documentation. Coordinate Board member onboarding, orientation logistics, evaluations, education sessions, retreats, the AGM, and other governance activities. Support Board recruitment, appointment, election, and transition processes through coordination, documentation, and records management. Coordinate member administration for councils and committees, including recruitment support, onboarding, correspondence, attendance tracking, and recognition activities. Coordinate the collection, compilation, and maintenance of data and supporting documentation required for patient experience and safety reporting. Coordinate administrative activities supporting the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program, including meeting coordination, documentation, action tracking, information requests, and maintenance of ERM records and resources. Accreditation Canada coordination Coordinate Accreditation Canada readiness activities, including scheduling meetings, maintaining evidence and documentation, tracking action plans, and supporting ongoing compliance activities. Coordinate the collection and maintenance of evidence and documentation required to demonstrate compliance with applicable accreditation requirements. Track accreditation requirements, action plans, outstanding evidence, and identified follow-up activities and coordinate follow-up with accountable stakeholders. Coordinate accreditation-related meetings, communications, stakeholder engagement, and survey logistics. Maintain accurate and accessible accreditation records and support ongoing organizational readiness activities. Corporate Governance department support Maintain Corporate Governance departmental records, documentation, templates, trackers, and other administrative resources. Provide document preparation, formatting, presentation development, and administrative support. Education: A post-secondary diploma or certificate in the area(s) of policy studies, business administration, public administration, public health, or similar is required. Experience: A minimum of two years’ professional administrative experience is required. A minimum of one year of experience facilitating council or committee meetings, including coordination, preparing agendas, minute-taking and supporting member management, is required. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Technical: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
