Job details
Particulars: Full Time - Receptionist *See attached job description* Monday – Friday 7.5 hours/ day May require some overtime. Duties: Answer the telephone, check voicemail and deal appropriately with each call; Schedule appointments on the computer system; Show patients to the examining rooms and prepare for the examination; Clean and stock examining rooms; maintain a neat working environment; Process all medical reports and correspondence that arrives at the station, including inputting of information into the patient’s computerized medical record; Perform procedures pertinent to physician’s needs, such as weighing patients, witnessing surgical consent, etc; Patient instruction and education; Chaperone physician’s examinations when requested; Perform other related duties as required; Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Requirements: Ability to deal with physicians, staff and public in a courteous and effective manner Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in computer systems and medical record management. Ability to multi-task and prioritize Preferred Qualifications: Salary: Previous job related experience As per C.U.P.E.
