Job Overview: The Part-Time Receptionist at the Delta Home Office is responsible for coordinating the facility services that keep the facility running and providing a great place to work for the Delta team members. This role will also be responsible for organizing and executing in collaboration with the Delta leadership team, the various Home office events and engagement activities for all the team members that call Delta their Home office. In addition, this role will lead the Social Committee at the Delta Home Office. This role will be Part Time and on-site at our Delta Lab Home Office. Days/Hours for this role are: 20 hours / week (Mon – Fri 9am – 1pm) * times are flexible. What Will You Be Doing? * Greeting suppliers, and visitors to the office in a professional and friendly manner. * Managing vendors as it relates to the facility * Ensuring the orderly appearance of our meeting rooms, maintaining supply levels for all kitchens and washrooms. Ensuring the cleanliness of closets, supply rooms and other areas. * Onboarding new team members to the Delta Home office * Planning and facilitation office functions and events including meetings, receptions, barbeques and other special events * Working with the Social committee on planning and leading culture events for the Delta team members * A point of contact for building maintenance and security. * Coordinating and maintaining employee building access with FOB set up and distribution * Adhere to company policies and corporate privacy policies. * Submitting expense reports * Ad hoc tasks as required As The Successful Candidate, You Have: * Three to five years of experience in a receptionist or administrative assistant role * A high school diploma with any post-secondary education is an asset. * Working experience with MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook * An ability and appetite to learn new systems and processes. * Enjoy working with others plan and deliver successful office events * A professional and approachable manner and a love of meeting and interacting with people. * The confidence to reach out and approach people from diverse professional backgrounds and levels of seniority. * Self-motivation, excellent verbal, and written communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving and organizational skills * An ability and appetite to learn new systems and processes How You'll Benefit: * Competitive wage and benefits * A people-first culture, (but dogs are also welcome) * An organization that gives back locally and nationally and supports you in doing so as well. * Ongoing training and development opportunities * Discounts on vision coverage & free eye exams * Flex options covering medical, prescription drug, and dental * Paid time-off and statutory holiday pay * Employee and Family Assistance Program * Goodlife Fitness Discount * Travel/Clothing Allowances Hourly Range: $20.67 - $25.82 per hour *Please note that this role is Part-Time from 20-29 hours* We appreciate your interest in FYidoctors and hope it didn't take too much time to apply.
