Responsibilities Tasks Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll Prepare statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments and insurance and pension plans Store, update and retrieve financial data Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing systems Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements Prepare monthly statements Complete and submit documentations for administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment and medical insurance Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans Compile statistics and reports Maintain payroll Maintain records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems Prepare T4 statements and other statements Perform data entry Prepare payroll Prepare expense and income reports Prepare general ledger Manage accounts payable Manage accounts receivable Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge Easypay MS Excel MS Word MS Windows Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Tight deadlines Personal suitability Accurate Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Organized Reliability Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Disability benefits Health care plan Vision care benefits

The role requires accuracy, organization, reliability, strong oral and written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines; familiarity with Easypay, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows is listed.
