Job Profile

Reporting to the Director of Digital Content, the Digital Content Manager must have a current and global vision of "lifestyle" content on Bell Media's digital platforms and its variations on social media. She/he is also responsible for reviewing and optimizing content, her/his objective being to ensure quality control of the content that is put online, as well as monitoring its performance. The person will also be an expert in the art of properly titling content, as well as in targeting the right audience with the right content.

Key Responsibilities

• Ordering content from freelancers
• Update and optimization of existing content.
• Performance monitoring of content posted or updated
• Competitive intelligence
• Close work with social media managers
• Integration of affiliate links in relevant articles
• Editing of content and optimization of SEO components
• Writing catchy headlines and headlines for both SEO and social media.
• Production of content for marketing campaigns as needed
• Search and update photos

Critical Qualifications

• Have a relevant college or university education.
• Have at least one year of experience for digital media.
• Be a seasoned user of content management systems (CMS), social media and have a good knowledge of web measurement tools and SEO.
• Be on the lookout for trends, topics in lifestyle news and have a good editorial flair.
• Demonstrate proven problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt in ever-changing environments.
• Have a positive attitude towards teamwork and excellent communication skills.
• Possess a keen sense of organization, is proactive, rigorous, efficient and results-oriented.
• Demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness.
• Impeccable command of written French.
