Within the logistics team at Pomerleau’s St‑Georges yard, the Shipping & Receiving Clerk plays a key role in ensuring seamless coordination between the logistics center and construction sites. The incumbent is responsible for accurate shipment and receiving processes while maintaining high standards of documentation and operational compliance. They actively contribute to improving logistics efficiency and maintain proactive communication with all stakeholders. Their attention to detail and organization directly support the performance of projects in the field. What you will do Coordinate equipment shipments to job sites while meeting established deadlines. Analyze logistics needs and select optimal transportation methods. Plan multi-drop routes to optimize transportation costs. Collaborate closely with transportation coordinators by providing clear and structured requests. Track shipments with site teams and adjust deliveries as needed. Prepare and validate shipping documentation, including compliance for hazardous materials. Receive and inspect goods (quantity, condition, documentation accuracy). Update inventory systems and contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes. This role could be for you if you have A High School Diploma (DES), an ASP and/or a DEP in a relevant field; 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role (inventory management, parts clerk, warehouse attendant, tool rental, etc.); Adaptability and autonomy, while promoting teamwork; A positive attitude and are rigorous, methodical and detail-oriented. Additional assets WHMIS training or training in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG); Experience operating a forklift or an aerial work platform. Requirements
Requires a high school diploma or professional certificate with 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory or warehouse roles. Candidates should be detail-oriented and possess certifications in WHMIS or TDG as an asset.
