About The Opportunity LRO is working with a corporate client to assist them in securing a Senior Law Clerk with experience managing litigation files. Working closely with the legal team, you will be responsible for collecting and managing all documents associated with their litigation files. Duties include but are not limited to: Support both internal members of the legal team, together with external counsel with coordination of litigation documents and files Work cooperatively with internal team members and outside legal counsel to facilitate meetings, provide documents and ensure smooth communication on new and existing files Maintain physical and electronic litigation records, bring forward dates and conduct follow up where necessary Generate legal documents and summaries, assemble exhibits and collate all supporting litigation materials Assist the legal team with corporate governance and other legal matters, as required About You The successful candidate will have the following: A Law Clerk Diploma with five plus years of experience supporting a litigation legal practice Knowledge of civil procedure, court rules and filing requirements Experience using litigation management software Strong organizational skills including superior time management, with the ability to work independently to manage competing priorities and deadlines Superior attention to detail Familiarity with corporate governance would be considered and asset About the Job This role is a full time, permanent opportunity with compensation of between $80,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and with a strong benefits offering and generous vacation.
