Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Student Produce Clerk (After School, Weekends, & Holidays) at our Food Store location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Produce Team Leader, responsibilities for the position include the following: • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a strong customer-focused approach. • Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels. • Stock and display products with a focus on well-organized, visually appealing presentation. • Monitor code dates and product quality to ensure the freshest inventory is on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO). • Prepare ready-to-eat produce products to Lake Country Co-op standards while maintaining production records. • Receive product and unload freight, ensuring produce is correctly stored. • Maintain a clean and organized department. • Support and follow Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations and practices. • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures. • Perform all other duties as assigned. What you’ll do

The Student Produce Clerk is responsible for stocking and displaying produce while ensuring product quality and freshness through proper inventory management. They must provide legendary customer service and maintain a clean, organized department in accordance with safety and food handling regulations.

Requirements

Candidates must be well-organized, service-oriented, and capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting 25-50 lbs and standing for an entire shift. The role requires a flexible schedule including availability after school, on weekends, and during holidays.
