As Integrator, Desktop Solutions, you plan and deliver integration activities for a range of projects and initiatives related to desktop solutions. You research and identify the implementation and configuration stages of technology solutions that respond to the changing needs and technology targets of the organization. You represent the unit within various decision-making bodies.

General Information on the Position

More precisely, you must have desktop expertise since you must be capable of identifying solution components that include the technologies in question. You collaborate with various solution architecture and engineering teams based on cross-functional needs as well as with content experts in your business unit.

Main responsabilities

  • Research and identify the implementation and configuration stages of technology solutions required to move forward with projects and initiatives under your responsibility and initiate collaboration activities with your delivery team that are consistent with desktop architecture orientations.

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in your field for various parties and decision-making bodies.

  • Analyze needs, performance capacity and project costs, and determine appropriate strategies.

  • Represent the unit when meeting with various committees and departments in connection with your assignments

  • Set up the configuration required to implement the solution.

  • Closely follow, understand and anticipate trends and best practices in your field of expertise.

  • Ensure the quality of deliverables for entrusted projects.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required

Specific knowledge

  • Desktop support expertise required (must have already provided support in previous work experience)

  • Expertise in cross-sector technology solutions (environments/tools/operating software and components)

  • Good knowledge of English, intermediate/advanced level (level 4)

  • In-depth knowledge of virtualization concepts

  • Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 (Registry, GPO, NTFS security, firewalls, etc.)

  • Knowledge of CITRIX, VMWARE, Windows Server infrastructure Active Directory and its components

  • Basic knowledge of security and telecommunication

  • Basic knowledge of Azure AD and cloud platforms

  • Knowledge of packaging concepts

  • Knowledge of INTUNE and MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) management and distribution tools

  • Knowledge of project management principles
