Position Summary We are seeking a professional, personable, and highly organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors. This role is essential to the smooth daily operation of the firm and requires excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and courteously Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings Receive, sort, and distribute mail, couriers, and deliveries Maintain reception area, boardroom and meeting spaces in a professional manner Assist with client intake and ensure confidentiality of information Assist legal assistants and lawyers as needed Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence Perform general administrative support tasks, including data entry and filing Basic bookkeeping Adhere to firm policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements Qualifications & Experience 2+ years of experience in a receptionist or front-desk role, preferably in a professional services or legal environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Professional demeanor and polished presentation Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining calm and organized Strong attention to detail and reliability Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office equipment Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Preferred Assets Previous experience working in a law firm Familiarity with legal terminology or practice management software Experience handling high call volumes Basic bookkeeping What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package Paid vacation and statutory holidays Opportunity to be part of a collaborative and respected legal team How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter to [email protected].
