Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Phone Etiquette skills, including professional communication and courteous handling of inquiries. Candidates should possess Appointment Scheduling capabilities, including managing bookings, reminders, and clinic calendars. Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to support accurate documentation and effective communication with clinical staff. Candidates should possess Insurance Verification and related administrative skills to confirm coverage, collect required information, and support billing processes. Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance skills, including data entry, form completion, record management, and use of electronic medical record systems. Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in a medical or clinic setting, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered service. Completion of a Medical Office Administration certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience, is an asset. Administration & Operations Front desk coverage: check‑in/out, OHIP/third‑party billing details at intake, appointment scheduling, and payment processing for uninsured services. Scan, index, and maintain accurate electronic charts; uphold PHIPA privacy/confidentiality. Inventory management: order, receive, and rotate supplies; maintain vaccine logs and cold chain records. Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI), safety huddles, and process optimization. Qualifications Medical Office Assistant diploma or equivalent experience preferred Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Knowledge of EMRs and clinical workflows is an asset Phlebotomy experience is an asset (training may be provided) What We Offer: Full-time, stable employment Supportive, multidisciplinary team environment Opportunities for professional growth within Verismo Health Inc.
