Position Information This position is for Aspire Health locations, which includes Satellite Site at South Keys (1145 Hunt Club Road) and The Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Center . Rotation/Shifts Days, Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts (08:00 - 16:00). For information purposes only - The Hospital reserves the right to change. Basic Requirements Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12); Successful completion of TOH medical terminology self-directed learning program or certification in medical terminology from a recognized educational institution; Six (6) months recent clerical experience, or successful completion of TOH Pathway to Clerical Role Program; Data Entry (4000 keystrokes/hour); Basic level Word; Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be eligible to work in Canada Proficiency in English and French oral expression (level 4 - advanced) and comprehension (level 4 - advanced). The Ottawa Hospital uses a 5-level language proficiency scale to define the required level of language skills in English and in French for positions at the Hospital, and to evaluate job candidate language skills. Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English speaking clients.
