Role Description The Dental Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role that will require the candidate to work from some of the locations. This role is responsible for greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring a welcoming, organized front desk environment. Day-to-day tasks include scheduling and confirming appointments, managing patient records, processing payments, and coordinating with clinical staff to maintain smooth operations. The Dental Receptionist will answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide clear information about services, policies, and appointment availability. The role also includes handling administrative tasks such as updating patient information, preparing forms, and supporting the team with general office duties as needed. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Appointment Scheduling and managing patient bookings efficiently. Candidates should possess an understanding of Dental Care environments and basic dental office procedures. Candidates should possess professional Phone Etiquette and the ability to manage high call volumes courteously. Candidates should possess clear and respectful Communication skills for interacting with patients and team members. Candidates should possess Receptionist Duties experience, including front desk operations and administrative tasks. Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in dental or medical office settings, familiarity with dental practice management software, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Secondary school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in office administration, healthcare administration, or a related field is an asset. Ability to work on-site full time, maintain patient confidentiality, and demonstrate a professional, inclusive, and empathetic demeanor.
