The Administrative Support Clerk must be able to perform a variety of administrative tasks and work collaboratively to help achieve the department’s objectives. What You’ll Do Prepare files for various in-person and virtual appointments Enter the daily schedules of healthcare professionals and ensure they are kept up to date Answer internal phone calls Confirm, modify, or cancel appointments Work closely with various teams to ensure smooth operations Respond to client inquiries Reply to incoming patient emails Provide coverage for different administrative positions as needed Perform any other related duties Qualifications What You Bring Completed high school diploma Minimum of one year of work experience Bilingualism (spoken and written French and English) Basic knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Politeness and professionalism Ability to work efficiently while maintaining confidentiality Reliability and punctuality Professional appearance and demeanor An intermediate level of English is required, as you will regularly be expected to interact in English with external parties (e.g., clients, suppliers, or external partners), communicate in English with internal stakeholders (e.g., colleagues or other team members), and work within an English-language computer environment as part of the duties associated with this province-wide role.

What you’ll do

The role involves managing healthcare professional schedules, coordinating appointments, and handling client inquiries via phone and email. The clerk will also prepare files for appointments and provide general administrative coverage to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year of work experience. Proficiency in both English and French, along with basic MS Office skills, is required.
