Job Title: Executive Assistant To Senior Rabbi Reports To: Senior Rabbi Location: North York (in-person, daily) Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Working Days/Hours: Monday to Thursday: 9 am - 6 pm Friday: 9 am - 1 pm Salary Range: 55-75k CAD Benefits: No Vacation: Year 1: 10 days (2 weeks) Year 2 to 5: 15 days (3 weeks) Year 6+: 20 days (4 weeks) Our employer, a dynamic Orthodox Jewish non-profit organization, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Senior Rabbi (SR) of their Community Center of Toronto. Key Responsibilities: Plan and assist with Fundraising activities Collect Pledges Manage SR’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, life cycle events, fundraising activities, deliveries, classes and travel arrangements Prepare any supportive materials, agendas, and daily reports Take notes and follow up on action items from internal and external meetings Handle incoming correspondence and prioritize responses Coordinate communication with donors Maintain contact lists and ensure up-to-date records in Salesforce CRM Maintain digital and physical files in an organized, accessible manner Ensure smooth daily operations of SR's office Maintain confidentiality of sensitive organizational and personnel information Ideal Candidate Will Have: Working knowledge of Russian and Hebrew Appetite for taking initiative and ability to understand the spirit rather than the letter of instruction Experience as an executive assistant (nonprofit preferred) Experience in Fundraising activities Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong written communication skills and attention to detail Comfort with digital tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM software) Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and take initiative Discretion and professionalism with sensitive information Bonus Skills (Not Required): Experience supporting nonprofit leadership Familiarity with donor databases or fundraising software (e.g. Salesforce CRM) Work Environment Entrepreneurial, fast-paced, collaborative office environment Occasional evening or weekend work may be required
