SUMMIT Inspection Services Ltd. is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis to provide maternity leave coverage. The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative support to our office and field operations, helping ensure information, documentation, and communication are handled accurately and efficiently. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing multiple priorities, and takes pride in providing dependable support to a team. Contract start date: October 2026 Contract duration: 18 months This position requires you to be in-office M-F Preferred Experience And Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year experience in an administrative or similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general office software Knowledge of clerical practices, procedures, and document control systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Responsibilities Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office and field teams Provide general clerical and administrative support including typing, data entry, filing, scanning, copying, and emailing Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems and document control records Type, prepare and modify correspondence, customer specific reports and other documents Provide general administrative and clerical support including emailing, scanning, faxing and copying Maintain regular communications with customers via e-mail and telephone on audit related activities Create audit binders and manage the process associated Create and edit MS Word and Excel document templates as required Ability to maintain, track and file documents on basic databases Assisting with miscellaneous projects as they arise when necessary Skills Superior verbal and written communication skills Superior attention to detail and accuracy Strong interpersonal skills with professional phone and in-person etiquette Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general office software Excellent grammar, spelling, and written documentation abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Strong reading comprehension and information processing skills Highly organized, with effective prioritization, planning, and time management skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Quick to adapt to changing priorities, systems, or work environments Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
