Role Description The Front Office Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in Burlington, ON. This position is responsible for greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining a welcoming reception area. Day-to-day tasks include answering phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, coordinating patient records, and handling basic administrative duties such as data entry and filing. The role also involves communicating with patients about their visits, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members, and supporting smooth clinic operations. The receptionist works closely with the clinical team to ensure a positive experience for every patient. Qualifications Strong front office and receptionist duties skills, including managing reception areas and handling administrative tasks. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to interact professionally with patients and callers. Clear and courteous communication skills for in-person, phone, and written interactions. Ability to use basic office software and scheduling systems; experience with healthcare or dental environments is an asset. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy setting. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration or healthcare reception is beneficial. Reliability, punctuality, and a professional, patient-centered approach to work.
