Scope Reporting to the Zone Manager, the Administrative Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by managing administrative tasks, travel logistics, and workforce coordination. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Oversee incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, emails, and work orders, ensuring timely distribution and proper documentation. * Accurately input and maintain data for time tracking, work orders, daily status reports, and expense management. * Coordinate travel and accommodations for staff rotations, ensuring seamless scheduling and managing visitor logs. * Maintain and replenish office supplies, oversee equipment maintenance, and coordinate transportation logistics to and from the airstrip. * Provide comprehensive clerical support, including word processing, document preparation, and report generation. * Operate and maintain office equipment, ensuring efficiency in daily administrative functions. Who You Are: * Education/Certificates/Licenses: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field is preferred. Valid driver's license is an asset. * Experience: Minimum 2 years administrative experience, a combination of education and experience will be considered. * Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Cross-Cultural Skills: Must be willing and able to work in a cross-cultural environment while supporting Nasittuq’s mission and commitment to Inuit employment.
