Job summary

Summary Reporting to the Manager of Community Programs and Services, the incumbent is responsible for customer service at the Sports Complex. Main Responsibilities Greet customers and respond to their questions and inquiries in person and by telephone; Enter payments into the reservation system, sell walking track passes, and balance a petty cash float; Provide information regarding program and event registrations, maintain inventory of equipment related to programs, as well as the sports equipment library; Conduct safety inspections of the facility to identify and eliminate hazards and ensure the safety of customers and users; Monitor facility users and ensure compliance with safety rules; Support the department with any other duties as required; Perform housekeeping duties within the sports complex, including sweeping and mopping floors, etc.; Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications And Requirements Education High school diploma or current student (minimum 18 years of age) Experience 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience (an asset) Certification /Accreditation N/A Specific Knowledge Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook); Abilities Excellent customer service and communication skills; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to work independently or as part of a team; Reliability, punctuality and good attendance; Ability to handle cash transactions accurately; Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and consistently; Commitment to quality work and high-quality service delivery; Details Hours 10 hours/week and more Includes evenings and weekends Compensation Pay Rate: $22.89/hour Benefits OMERS pension plan Employee Assistance Program (Dialogue) Location Sports Complex, Limoges, ON Start Date September 14, 2026 Additional Requirements A criminal record check must be provided upon hire.
