MEDOCare seeks to fill one full-time Administrative Assistant position at 150 Henry Avenue in Winnipeg, MB. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the activities and mandate of MEDOCare Inc. Job Duties/Competencies: * Provide administrative support to the CEO and Senior Manager, including preparing reports, presentations, correspondence, forms, and other documents; * Answer, screen, and transfer inbound calls and respond to general inquiries by providing information on available resources and programs; * Coordinate meetings by scheduling appointments, booking facilities, preparing draft agendas, and taking, transcribing, and editing meeting minutes; * Manage incoming mail and materials, coordinate the internal flow of information, and maintain effective communication with other departments and external organizations; * Track and order supplies and equipment for pharmacy locations, and assist with managing vendor invoices, payment receipts, and remittances; * Organize, maintain, and archive files, ensuring records and documents are properly stored and accessible. Skills and Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in administration or a combination of relevant education and experience is considered an asset; * Administrative support experience with strong communication skills and the ability to prepare professional correspondence and reports; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; * Experience with accounting software, including QuickBooks, is considered an asset; * Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and contribute collaboratively within a team environment; * Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain accurate electronic and hard copy filing systems; * Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills; * Experience working with boards and/or committees is preferred; * Experience working for a not-for-profit organization and Indigenous community is an asset; * Knowledge of Red River Métis culture, and MMF programs and services is a definite asset; and, * Ability to travel, valid Manitoba Driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle.
