You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and time management skills are essential for this position. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures) Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email Perform other clerical receptionist and administrative duties for all departments in the office team Other duties as assigned Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers) Professional attitude and appearance Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organizational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Customer service attitude Comprehensive Benefits Package, including extended medical and dental benefits. 35-hour workweek (Monday-Friday) Sick days Vacation Extended health & dental benefits after probationary 3 months period Active Social Committee plans team events A great team to work with - we have been awarded the distinction of "Great Place to Work" six years in a row! Requirements
Proven experience as a Receptionist or Front Office Representative with proficiency in using office equipment. Requires a professional attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a customer-service oriented role.
