JUNIOR DOCUMENT CONTROLLER / DATA ENTRY CLERK Calgary, Alberta, Canada Our ideal candidate will be an essential member of our Document Control group which supports the entire Projects Team network within Lanmark. We are looking for a new grad from a records management course or 1 years’ experience in a Document Control / Data Entry position. The Document Control position will report to the Lead Document Controller and will work closely with the Project Managers, Project Engineers and Drafters and is responsible for all internal and external client document management activities. Job Responsibilities The Document Controller will be responsible for managing records, high-volume data entry, and accurate database maintenance. Ensure adherence to all Document Control standards and processes through informal checking and backchecking of document control outputs, including: Naming conventions, Folder structures, Document links, and Version control Perform Master Document Register(s) reconciliation to ensure data consistency between repositories (internal and external) compliance with project requirements. Manage project recordkeeping and correspondence functions including weekly/monthly reports, meeting minutes, templates and project related items, as required. Make sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are distributed. Ensure proper coding of all documents and drawings. Scan and print documents as required. Qualifications SAIT Information Management and Records Certificate (or equivalent), or 1 year experience in a related Document Control position. Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills a must. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Must demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, the ability to multitask and work in a high pace setting in a group or in an individual setting. Previous experience with high-volume data entry, database maintenance, records management, or engineering documentation is an asset. Knowledge of MFiles, SharePoint and FTP Sites is an asset.
