On March 31, 2021, Lackawanna County received a certificate of approval to proceed with the development of a department of health from the State. A board of health has been formed as per State Public Health Law, and we have recruited and hired a Department of Health Director, an epidemiologist, a business intelligence analyst, and a community health nurse supervisor to guide our development based on the public health needs of the community.

The Payroll Clerk manages the county's Integrated Payroll System and ensures all payroll details are executed accurately and promptly. They report to the Payroll Supervisor and the Director of Administrative Services/CFO to maintain efficient administrative operations.
