We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our Buying and Category team!

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Junior Buyer to support our merchandising and purchasing team in sourcing products, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring inventory is aligned with business needs.

Support the purchasing process by preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring products arrive on time

Communicate with suppliers to request quotations, confirm orders, resolve shipment issues, andmaintainstrong working relationships

Assistwith product sourcing, vendor research, and supplier evaluations to support purchasing decisions

Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with merchandising, planning, and operations teams to ensure product availability

Analyze sales, inventory, and purchasing data toidentifytrends and support inventory planning and replenishment

Support product launches, seasonal assortments, and new store openings by coordinating purchasing timelines and product availability

Assistin monitoring supplier performance, including quality, cost, and delivery metrics, and recommend opportunities for improvement

Maintainaccuraterecords and documentation within internal systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teamsto support business objectives

Prepare regular purchasing reports and provide insights to support inventory management and buying strategies

What You'll Need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field

1–3 years of experience in buying, purchasing, procurement, merchandising, inventory planning, or a related role (internship or co-op experience is also considered)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data

Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong communicationand relationship management skills when working with suppliers and cross-functional teams

Experience working with ERP(NetSuite, SAP, etc.),purchasing, or inventory management systems is an asset

Knowledge of retail buying, inventory management, or supply chain processes is preferred

Experience in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer retail industries is an asset

Passion for retail, product trends, and delivering an exceptional customer experience
