The position?s primary responsibilities are the timely and accurate procurement of materials for projects, production or the organization, and to manage the revision to projects, expedite project materials, conduct supplier/vendor research and maintain business relationships. The position also ensures requirements from all applicable laws, governing standards and customer requirements are applied to the procurement processes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Manage procurement for project and production materials, including sourcing, quoting, purchasing, and creating purchase orders in SAP.
• Coordinate project revisions and material changes by updating allocations, documentation, and non-conformance records.
• Monitor inventory levels, reorder materials as needed, and maintain accurate purchasing, allocation, and forecasting data in SAP.
• Expedite materials and logistics by tracking open orders, reviewing shortages, and arranging freight to meet project schedules.
• Support supplier management and reporting through vendor research, relationship maintenance, quality compliance, receiving, and inventory analysis.
• Performing other duties as allocated.

• Excellent communication skills with an attention to detail
• 1 year of previous work experience in shipping shipping/receiving, purchasing, or related manufacturing experience
• Ability to work at sustained pace and produce quality work.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
