Job Description
Accountabilities:
Responsible for organization, recruitment, training, work flow and operations of clerical staff (registration, bookings, and image management) including staffing and scheduling in collaboration with the staffing office In conjunction with diagnostic imaging picture archiving and communication systems, update and maintain corporate dictionaries for radiology information systems Provide support and assistance to Diagnostic Imaging administrative leadership, including supervisors, managers, corporate director and radiologists Provide leadership to front line staff in order to provide all clients with professional and timely service Work in collaboration with Finance to provide timely collection of fees due to Osler as well as recovery of fees originally denied by OHIP (be part of group to update dictionaries as per Schedule of Benefits) Liaise with corporate registration group for training of staff and registration issues or projects
Qualifications
Minimum of five years relevant experience Need to be able to demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) Must be able to demonstrate excellent critical thinking and problem resolution skills Must be adept at developing and managing staffing schedules and support processes to ensure required coverage to support diagnostic imaging operations Working knowledge of CIHI Workload Measurement and OHIP Schedule of Benefits is preferred Working knowledge of radiology software is preferred Working knowledge of the following health information system modules is preferred: Admissions: aid frontline staff with registration questions, pull workload stats for frontline Billing/Accounts Receivable: work with Finance to set exam billing; audit accounts for payment in order to make changes to Radiology billing practices MSM applications: work with supervisors to maintain appointment schedules, dictionary working knowledge to create exams and rooms, trouble shoot for frontline staff Meditech used when testing upgrades or software patches Materials Management ordering stores or purchase orders NPR MOX payroll system Order entry trouble shooting order entry issues crossing to Syngo Patient care inquiry used to ensure patient reports have crossed interface and when correcting account changes Payroll/personnel enter staff payroll, running attendance reports Working knowledge of Syngo and sectra dictionaries and modules and ability to build and maintain dictionaries; set up user access; trouble shoot Syngo issues for frontline staff, techs, radiologists and diagnostic imaging management is preferred Working knowledge of WSIB to be able to assist in booking exams, upload reports, etc.

Hours: Currently days, including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Salary:
Minimum: $81,315.00 per annum
Maximum: $101,634.00 per annum
