This is not a traditional administrative position. As Executive Assistant to the General Manager and Vice President (Americas), you will have a front-row seat to the leadership and operations of a globally recognized luxury hospitality brand. You will work directly with a senior executive responsible for one of Canada's most celebrated resorts while gaining exposure to business strategy, operations, project management, communications, and executive decision-making.

You'll support the General Manager/Vice President by: Managing a complex and dynamic executive calendar. Coordinating travel, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries. Organizing meetings, executive visits, conferences, and special events. Preparing correspondence, presentations, and meeting materials. Acting as a key point of coordination between departments, leadership teams, and external partners. Managing expenses and supporting reporting processes. Assisting with special projects and strategic initiatives. Supporting communication and collaboration between the Cabot Cape Breton team and Cabot's corporate office. Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, and administrative processes. Representing Cabot's values through professionalism, positivity, and exceptional service.
Requirements of the role you should be aware of: Based on the nature of our business and the service we provide to our guests, to work with us, you must consent to a criminal background check as a condition of employment and an additional criminal background check every two years. This is a high-trust position which will include the management of extremely confidential and sensitive materials, including financial, personal and human resource related information. Discretion is to be maintained at all times. As a seasonal resort business, you can anticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work. Physical requirements go here.
