About the role
Battlefield Equipment Rentals is seeking a highly organized and driven Sales Operations & Business Development Coordinator to support our growing sales organization. This role is integral to driving revenue growth by supporting branch and corporate sales teams with pricing administration, customer reporting, project tracking, and lead generation within the construction and industrial equipment rental market.
The ideal candidate understands the fast-paced nature of the rental industry, including project-based selling, contractor relationships, and competitive quoting environments. This role will play a key part in identifying opportunities, supporting RFQ/RFP responses, managing customer data, and enhancing our overall sales effectiveness.
Job Type: Fulltime, Permanent
Salary Range: $68,000 - $74,000 + annual bonus
Location- The successful candidate will be based out of one of the following locations:
- Battlefield Brampton
- Battlefield Stoney Creek
- Battlefield Ayr
- Battlefield/Jobsite Cambridge
- Jobsite Burlington
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Pricing Support
- Prepare and manage customer rebate programs, write-ups, and supporting documentation
- Maintain customer-specific pricing agreements, rate structures, and national/regional account files
- Ensure pricing accuracy and alignment across systems, contracts, and rental agreements
- Support large project and group order coordination as the central response contact between sales, operations, and customers
- Perform detailed data entry and maintain CRM and internal system accuracy
Customer & Project Reporting
- Generate customer performance reports (revenue, utilization, pricing compliance)
- Produce job lead and project tracking reports for sales teams across regions
- Monitor and track construction projects, shutdowns, and industrial opportunities
- Provide insights to sales leaders on pipeline activity and growth opportunities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Source and identify project opportunities within key verticals (construction, infrastructure, industrial, energy)
- Support outbound lead generation efforts and prospect tracking
- Assist Account Managers in expanding existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities
- Maintain databases of contractors, project owners, and procurement contacts
RFQ / RFP & Quote Management
- Coordinate and respond to RFQs and RFPs for rental equipment and solutions
- Compile pricing, fleet availability, delivery logistics, and supporting documentation
- Ensure timely, accurate, and competitive submissions aligned with Battlefield’s standards
- Collaborate with operations, fleet, and logistics teams to validate availability and execution plans
Portal & Customer System Management
- Manage customer procurement portals (e.g., large contractors, national accounts)
- Ensure compliance with customer submission requirements, documentation, and reporting
- Maintain up-to-date records of contracts, pricing schedules, and required uploads
Sales Enablement & Presentations
- Build professional customer presentations, project proposals, and sales decks
- Support Business Development Managers and Account Managers with tailored materials
- Leverage Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) to streamline reporting and communication
- Assist with internal reporting dashboards and sales tracking tools
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in equipment rental, construction services, or industrial sales support (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM systems, ERP platforms, and customer portals
- Understanding of project-based sales, quoting, and contractor-driven environments
- Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders
