About the role
The Operations Coordinator tracks daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently, and within quality standards. This role involves coordinating production schedules and monitoring inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure that production schedules are met.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless production flow.
- Track inventory levels of materials and supplies and coordinate replenishments as needed.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to confirm material availability and delivery timelines.
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor quality control procedures and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Assist the Sales team in designing and developing new and custom products.
- Participate and apply all health and safety policies and measures.
- Prepare and present regular production reports to management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control.
- Proficiency in software tools such as ERPs, SolidWorks, CAD design, etc.
- Worked in an “Industry 4.0” environment (an asset).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong capacity to ‘think outside the box’.
- Proficient in English and French, both in speaking and writing.
