ProTemp Glass Inc., a company within the Toro Group, specializes in architectural glass solutions supporting complex commercial and residential projects.

This existing Shipping Assistant position reports directly to the Shipping Supervisor at ProTemp Glass Inc.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and respond to shipping and receiving requests
• Track and coordinate all incoming/outgoing shipments and deliveries
• Perform boxing, packaging, and labeling of finished glass products and materials to ensure safe transport
• Work closely with internal departments to support shipping schedules and production planning
• Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory reports and documentation
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and care in handling glass products
• Operate in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a non-unionized manufacturing environment
• Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Experience using a computerized inventory system
• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs
• Crane certification is considered a strong asset

Compensation: $22.60 per hour
