Junior Executive Assistant

Huawei Canada has an immediate permanent opening for a Junior Executive Assistant. About the team: As a strategic partner supporting all of Huawei Canada, the Human Resource Department plays a pivotal role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring compliance with corporate and legal standards. About the job: Provide direct administrative and office management support to senior managerial and technical executives, as directed. Prepare travel schedules, book travel arrangements, and make reservations for senior executives and occasionally members of their staff. Coordinate logistics of team programs including meetings, seminars, workshops, special projects, and events. Minute taking, and tracking meetings resolutions. Refer and/or redirect calls, e-mails, or visitors as required. Complete expense reports, pay invoices, and other related duties. Present a positive and professional image of the office to all visitors, suppliers, inquiries, and other persons. Some personal assistant duties as required (lunches, errands). Other duties shall be assigned as required. The total target annual compensation (based on 2,080 hours per year) ranges from $48,000 to $94,000 depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
About the ideal candidate: Bachelor‘s degree in Business Administration, or relevant discipline. Three or more years of experience in an administration role supporting the work of upper management. Strong knowledge of office procedures and practices. Fast learner and keen attention to details. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point). Resourceful and flexible.
