Dans ce rôle, le consultant contribue à la recherche de programmes de financement gouvernementaux, à l’évaluation de l’admissibilité des clients et à la préparation d’analyses, de demandes de subvention et de la documentation connexe. Il aide également à préparer les demandes liées à l’embauche et à la formation, ainsi qu’à soutenir la production des rapports de conformité à la suite des approbations. De plus, le consultant assure une veille des nouveaux programmes et des changements aux programmes existants, communique avec les autorités responsables afin de clarifier les exigences, et maintient à jour la base de données interne et les sommaires de programmes. Tâches et responsabilités : Préparation et rédaction de dossiers de financement gouvernemental (40%) : Assister les consultants seniors dans la préparation de rapports d’analyse de subventions, pour révision par le gestionnaire. Préparer toutes les subventions liées à l’embauche et à la formation pour révision par les gestionnaires, et soutenir la production des rapports de conformité à la suite des approbations de subventions. Stratégies de financement et analyses des projets (40%) : Assister les gestionnaires et les consultants seniors dans la recherche de programmes de subventions afin d’évaluer l’admissibilité des clients. Au besoin, aider à la préparation des réponses aux autorités responsables des subventions. Autres (20%) : Effectuer une veille continue des nouveaux programmes de subventions et des changements aux programmes existants, et en informer l’équipe. Contacter les programmes de subventions afin d’obtenir de l’information à jour et/ou de clarifier les exigences. Mettre à jour régulièrement la base de données des programmes de subventions du cabinet. Préparer des sommaires des programmes de subventions pour inclusion dans les rapports d’analyse. Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe, selon les besoins. Éducation et expérience : Un baccalauréat ou un diplôme équivalent en commerce/administration, comptabilité, finance, science politique, journalisme ou sciences est exigé. Une connaissance générale des subventions fédérales et provinciales, du développement des affaires et de la rédaction de plans d’affaires constitue un atout majeur. In this role, the Consultant assists with researching government funding programs, assessing client eligibility, and contributing to the drafting of grant analyses, applications, and related documentation. The Consultant also helps prepare hiring and training grant submissions and supports compliance reporting after approvals. In addition, the Consultant monitors new programs and changes to existing ones, liaises with funding authorities to clarify requirements, and keeps the firm’s grants database and program summaries up to date. Duties and responsibilities: Proposal Preparation and Writing (40%): Assist Senior Consultants in preparing Grant analyses reports for Manager review Prepare all hiring and training grants for Managers review and assist with the compliance reporting post grant approvals. Funding Strategizing and Project Analysis (40%): Assist Managers and Senior Consultants with researching Grant programs for client eligibility When required, assist with responses from Grant Authorities. Other (20%): Continually research new Grant programs, changes to existing programs and apprise the team Reach out to Grant programs to acquire updated information and/or clarify requirements Regularly update the Firm’s Grant Program Database Prepare Grant program overviews for inclusion in Analysis reports Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business/Administration, Accounting, Finance, Political Science, Journalism or Science is required. General knowledge of Federal and Provincial Grants, business development and business plan writing would be strong assets. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver’s license required. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: Standard indoor working environment. Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer. Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm in person and via e-mail and telephone. Position requires regular interaction with clients and interface with external vendors in person and via e-mail and telephone. Independent travel requirement: Up to 10-15%. Compensation Pay Transparency: For Ontario based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $48,000.00 - $62,700.00 The Firm makes offers based on many factors, including qualifications and experience.
