Role Description The Contract Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Windsor, ON. This position is responsible for administering construction contracts for transportation and municipal infrastructure projects, including reviewing contract documents, monitoring compliance, and supporting project teams throughout the construction phase. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal staff; tracking contract changes and documentation; assisting with procurement and tender processes; and preparing reports and correspondence related to contract performance. The role also involves supporting quality assurance activities, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and regulatory requirements, and helping resolve contract-related issues in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Contract Management and Contract Administration skills, including experience interpreting and applying contract terms and conditions. Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation and Procurement skills, with the ability to support tendering processes and vendor selection. Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to review contract data, assess risks, and support decision-making based on documentation and project requirements. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders. Relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects, preferably with public-sector or municipal contracts. Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field is an asset. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PDF tools); familiarity with contract management systems is beneficial. Knowledge of Ontario public procurement practices, contract law basics, and applicable standards, guidelines, or regulations related to transportation and municipal infrastructure is an asset.
