Position: Flight Coordinator – Turnaround
We are currently hiring an experienced Flight Coordinator for a turnaround project at the CNRL Horizon Site. This is a fly-in/fly-out opportunity with camp accommodations provided, charter flights available from Edmonton or Calgary, and competitive rates. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all workforce travel logistics, ensuring employees arrive on schedule and travel arrangements are accurate throughout the duration of the project.
Qualifications & Education:
Previous experience in a Flight Coordinator, Travel Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Project Administrator, or similar administrative role Experience coordinating travel within the Oil & Gas or Industrial Construction industry is considered a strong asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced turnaround environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to commit to a 12 & 2 rotation, working up to 12-hour days for the full duration of the turnaround Valid Class 5 Driver's License is considered an asset
Skills, Attributes, and Responsibilities: Coordinate all charter and commercial flight bookings for project personnel Arrange travel itineraries, camp arrivals, departures, and transportation logistics Monitor flight schedules and communicate changes, delays, or cancellations to employees and site supervision Ensure all travel arrangements align with project mobilization and demobilization schedules Maintain accurate travel records, flight manifests, and employee travel information Coordinate with travel providers, camp personnel, and internal departments to ensure smooth workforce movement Assist with booking accommodations and ground transportation where required Respond promptly to last-minute travel changes and provide effective solutions while minimizing project disruptions Prepare daily and weekly travel reports and maintain organized documentation Communicate professionally with employees regarding travel instructions, schedules, and required documentation Support project administration with additional administrative duties as required Maintain confidentiality of employee and travel information while demonstrating professionalism and excellent customer service
