*Prince Albert Smiles Dental Centre *is seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations of the front desk. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental office procedures, and proficiency with dental management software. Prior experience in dental or medical office environments is highly valued, along with strong administrative capabilities. The Dental Receptionist will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and supporting the clinical team to deliver quality patient care.

Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using Curve or similar dental management software
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accordingly
- Handle multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, direct calls, and manage appointment reminders
- Collect payments, process billing, and assist with insurance claims
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Manage correspondence, including emails and mailings related to patient care and office operations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management of office supplies
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day
Skills
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office setting
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Curve is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly professional demeanor
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and office administrative procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and scheduling
- Prior experience working with insurance providers and processing claims is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and capable professional demeanor

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
