Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences
• Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and treatments
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health regulations
• Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a friendly and professional atmosphere
• Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
• Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques through ongoing education and training
• Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations
• Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work preferred
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in a salon environment
• Ability to upsell retail products tactfully to clients
• Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is a plus
