Who We Are Draught Services, a division within The Beer Store, is Canada’s oldest and largest draught service and equipment company established since 1947. We work with Brewers and Licensees towards the common goal of promoting the highest quality draught beer experience through industry leading installation, global partnerships, and an established US and Canadian dealer network. We offer nationwide installation, system cleaning and service, and support and offer Canada’s premier Keg repair service. The Role We are currently searching for an Accounting Administrator, reporting to the Supervisor, Business Unit, for a full-time, permanent opportunity.  The Accounting Administrator will oversee all Accounts Receivable (AR) functions in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and timely processing while meeting weekly and monthly accounting deadlines. This role involves managing administrative tasks, coordinating month-end procedures, and providing exceptional service to customers, breweries, and Draught Services (DS) field technicians. Additionally, the Accounting Administrator will facilitate communication within a computerized accounting system, bridging on-site office staff and off-site field personnel. They will also ensure brewery representative AR accounts are maintained and payments are processed efficiently within established termsLocation Our Corporate Office is located in Bolton, ON. We offer a hybrid work model with visits into the office a minimum of three times per week and on an as-needed basis depending on the role and function.What You'll Be Doing

Manage all Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including daily invoice entries, deposit processing, and timely collection of brewery rep payments
Oversee month-end procedures, ensuring financial reports, write-offs, and recoveries are completed accurately and submitted to meet Head Office deadlines
Perform weekly bank reconciliations, prepare and process system deposits, and maintain accurate financial records
Ensure compliance with invoicing procedures, overseeing the submission and approval of invoices over $1K while maintaining adherence to company policies
Maintain strong relationships with brewery partners, ensuring AR for Labatt, Molson, and Sleeman is collected within payment terms and handling subcontractor invoices
Monitor and balance key financial accounts, including Keg Inventory and AR accounts, ensuring alignment between Head Office and Draught Services
Support administrative operations, including managing rep mail, entering new accounts, and handling special AR projects as assigned by management
Provide backup support for Accounts Payable (AP) and Field Administration during absences or vacations
Handle customer inquiries and account updates, ensuring accurate communication between customers, service technicians, and brewery representatives
Drive efficiency and process improvements by maintaining smooth AP, AR, and inventory procedures while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial reporting standards
Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
 

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience Education Post-Secondary education in Business Administration or Accounting Experience 1-2 years experience in administration and/or accounting Minimum 1 year experience with Accounts Receivable Knowledge and experience with an ERP software Experience in customer service Skills Intermediate accounting knowledge with an understanding of general accounting principles Intermediate computer skills of Microsoft Office Suite products, proficiency in Excel is desired Experience with SAP, Business Central and Körber One considered an asset Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze data Excellent time management and problem solving skills in a fast paced environment Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and positively with multiple departments and outside contacts Self starter, able to work independently and with little guidance Well organized, possess ability to prioritize and maintains heavy workload during high pressure month end deadlines Compensation Salary range?
