Company Description The Town of Stony Plain is the local government authority responsible for planning and delivering municipal services in Stony Plain, a Canadian urban community of approximately 18,000 people on the traditional Indigenous lands of Treaty 6 peoples. Job Description Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional who takes pride in providing excellent service and administrative support in a fast-paced environment? The Town of Stony Plain has a casual position available for a Casual Detachment Clerk. Under the supervision of the Watch Clerk Coordinator, this position provides administrative support and services to the general public and Members, which includes the provision for duties within Court Detail, Disclosure Unit, Records, and Front Counter. This role provides immediate assistance to both emergency and non-emergency situations to RCMP members and the public. For complete details, please refer to the job description. We are seeking a candidate who: Possesses strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Can multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Demonstrates professionalism, tact, and sound judgment when assisting the public. Is adaptable to changing workloads, priorities, and procedures. Has attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Is willing and able to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Qualifications Education and Experience: A current RCMP Enhanced Level Security Clearance is required. Has a High School Diploma (required). Completion of a related post-secondary program is considered an asset. Brings 1-3 years of related administrative experience or law enforcement support experience. What we do for you: Competitive Compensation Wellness Allowance Community Club Additional Information The successful candidate will be required to work variable shifts as per the detachment schedule and must hold a current RCMP Enhanced Level Security Clearance. All shift work will be scheduled on an as-needed basis. The hourly range for this position is $29.67 - $37.75 per hour.
