As a CBRE Loading Dock Receiver, you’ll provide service and support to the facility by handling shipping and receiving tasks.

This job is part of the facilities management team. They are responsible for the physical receiving and handling of goods at a loading dock. Their primary function is to oversee the unloading of incoming shipments, verify the accuracy of the goods against purchase orders, and ensure proper sorting and storage. What You’ll Do: Move and handle large and cumbersome freight in a dock environment Utilize proper handling techniques to ensure items are protected from damage Ensure all inbound and outbound freight is accurately and efficiently received and shipped in accordance with company procedures. Escorts Delivery vendors in to and out of the facility. Directs delivery vehicles to appropriate locations. Maintains computer-based inventory, control/shipping programs, stock keeping Inspects loading dock equipment.

Performs light duties: sweeping, general cleaning, garbage removal, snow removal, etc. Erects safety barricades Maintains signage Escalates unusual events, occurrences or unsafe conditions to supervisor May respond to basic tenant requests and emergencies Participates in reviewing of operating standards, policies/procedures as required Works in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and all other applicable codes Maintain a clean work environment Other duties as assigned What You’ll Need:

High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. May require equipment certification for forklifts, aerial lifts, and power pallet jacks.

Physical requirements include stooping, standing, climbing, and frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs.

Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary being offered for this role is up to $45,000 per year. The compensation provided to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
