About the role

We are looking for a Marketing & Sales Support Associate – a skilled individual who plays a key role in supporting the execution of Southmedic's marketing initiatives, trade show program, and sales enablement activities. This position is responsible for maintaining marketing assets and systems, supporting lead management activities, providing administrative and operational support to the sales and marketing teams; including coordinating tradeshow events. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Marketing Support Assist in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event channels. Coordinate and schedule social media content aligned with product launches, healthcare awareness initiatives, and tradeshow activities. Maintain and monitor a calendar of healthcare awareness days, industry events, and key promotional opportunities. Support the creation and formatting of presentations, marketing collateral, sales tools, and customer-facing materials. Assist with product photography, video production, and content creation projects, including on-site coordination when required. Maintain website content, including updates to pages, product information, metadata, SEO elements, and quality assurance checks. Monitor website performance and identify opportunities for content improvements and search engine optimization. Compile monthly marketing reports, including website analytics, social media performance, campaign metrics, and competitive intelligence. Coordinate the production of printed marketing materials, working with external vendors to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery. Maintain digital asset libraries and marketing resource repositories.

Trade Show & Event Management Own and maintain the corporate tradeshow and event calendar. Coordinate registrations, sponsorship opportunities, booth selection, and exhibitor requirements. Act as the primary point of contact with show organizers, event venues, and external vendors. Manage event logistics including shipping, freight, booth installation, dismantling, and material handling. Maintain inventory of booth assets, promotional materials, and event supplies. Track event budgets, expenses, and post-event reporting. Coordinate post-event lead collection, reporting, and follow-up activities.

Sales Support Maintain CRM data integrity, including customer records, contacts, opportunities, pricing updates, and product information. Support sales quote generation, pricing updates, and customer documentation requests. Manage sales sample inventory, fulfillment processes, and shipping coordination.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES Exceptional organizational and project coordination skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with CRM platforms (Zoho and HubSpot preferred). Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and website maintenance. Understanding of SEO best practices and digital marketing fundamentals. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) considered an asset. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Collaborative team player with a customer-service mindset. Interest in healthcare, medical devices, or related industries considered an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Event Management, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in a marketing, sales support, event coordination, or administrative role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience working with CRM systems and reporting platforms. Experience coordinating projects and managing multiple deadlines.

Annual Salary Range - $65,000-$70,000
