Position Profile Volunteer Services Coordinator. In our Volunteer Services department as we work together to deliver compassionate and respectful care to our patients, families and visitors. Under the direction of the Director, Volunteer Services, the Coordinator, Volunteer Services is responsible for acting as the first point of contact and providing on site support for evening volunteers. Employment Status: Part Time Reporting Relationship: Manager, Volunteer Services Location: Wilson Department: Volunteer Services Hours of work: Monday - Friday, Evenings 5 pm - 8 pm Employee Group: Non-Union Salary Range: $29.799-$37.272 Responsibilities: Provide support and act as a resource to all evening volunteers, including the Information Desk volunteers Monitor daily attendance to ensure appropriate coverage Provide nightly report and update for the Volunteer Services team on issues Provide administration support for orientation, training and events Print and distribute “Contact A Patient” emails Respond to general inquiries, emails and messages regarding process to becoming a volunteer Requirements: Successful completion of at least one year of post-secondary education. 1-2 years experience in a leadership role Volunteer experience. Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster relationships with volunteers Excellent customer service skills. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills. Superior organizational skills and detail-oriented. Able to work independently and as a member of a team. Strong computer skills - Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
