Office Clerk (Billing or Data Processing)
Administrative and billing operations requiring additional support to maintain accuracy and service levels.
SUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: Handle sensitive issues in order to ensure customer satisfaction; Provide detailed oral and written communication to business areas regarding inquiry resolutions; Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives; Meet personal/team qualitative and efficiency targets. Apply premium payments and deposits to policies Facilitate changes in payment mode, banking details, and pre-authorized checking Process wire, refund, suspense clearing, premium offset and chargeback In charge of responding to general billing and policy change inquiries Conduct research and histories
MUST-HAVE Hard Skills: Strong data entry and attention to detail Basic knowledge of billing or administrative processes Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
SOFT SKILLS: Strong organizational and time management skills Clear written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and in a team
NICE-TO-HAVE: Experience in insurance or financial services Knowledge of policy or billing systems Ability to handle high-volume administrative tasks Bilingual in French and English (French is nice to have not a must have)
