Unposting Date: 2026-07-07 11:59 PM We are looking for an enthusiastic person to provide effective and proactive executive assistance to the Office of the General Manager, Entertainment. You will be working in a dynamic, demanding environment where the ability to be flexible, stay organized, juggle priorities and activities to meet short deadlines, while expertly handling external talent and producers, is mandatory. Responsibilities include: ● Proactively plan, organize and coordinate all work related to the day to day administration of the Office of the GM, Entertainment, at times with minimal direction: ○ Effectively manage the calendar and daily schedule according to priorities, and ensure that the GM has necessary background material and is properly briefed prior to appointments and meetings; ○ Ensure information and inquiries are directed and processed quickly and efficiently; ○ Work with confidential and sensitive information relating to communications, policy and regulatory matters, financial activities and impacts and external relations; ○ Investigate and resolve problems related to departmental matters. ● Ardent management and precise understanding of the flow of information between the Office of the GM and internal/external sources: assesses the urgency and importance of queries/problems; has the capacity to know when to escalate to GM, and ensures a timely response/resolution. ● Acts as the central information hub by providing information and feedback to departmental staff regarding matters and procedures that pertain to administration, corporate policy, financial policy and procurement; ● Perform research, analysis, and project coordination in department activities; ● Coordinate, prepare and finalize highly confidential presentations and documents to be presented by the GM; ● Anticipate and solve problems and handles critical tasks on behalf of the GM, as required, while maintaining a consideration for potential impact on other areas of the Corporation; ● Manage Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) requests; ● Establish and maintain good working relationships with various senior CBC/Radio-Canada managers, departments and external contacts; ● Establish and maintain good working relationships and representation with various external stakeholders including actors, writers, producers and directors. Qualifications - External We are looking for a candidate with the following: ● University education or equivalent in business or related discipline, as well administrative experience at the Executive level; ● At least 5 years of administrative experience at the Executive level; ● Superior knowledge of and experience with computer applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Business Applications, and the Internet; ● Knowledge of SAP an asset; ● Able to communicate clearly and effectively in both spoken and written; ● Highly developed administrative and organizational skills; ● Sound judgment and initiative; ● Strong ability to handle multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines; ● Accuracy and attention to detail are essential; ● Owing to the confidentiality of some correspondence, must be able to act independently when required; ● Requires the ability to comprehend and act on complex and sensitive matters; ● Professional tact and diplomacy are essential; ● Able and willing to work outside of regular office hours, as and when required; ● Bilingualism is an asset.
