The University Navigator plays an important role within the Office of the Registrar, supporting Yukon University’s Strategic Enrolment Management Plan and enhancing student experience. This position provides the opportunity to lead initiatives, contribute to the ongoing development of admissions and enrolment processes, and support a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic, adaptable, and student-focused professional with a passion for education and supporting students in achieving their academic goals. Acting as a key point of contact for prospective and current students, the University Navigator provides guidance on programs and courses, admission requirements, application processes, financial aid and Yukon First Nation funding options, graduation requirements, transfer opportunities, and potential career pathways.

This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders across academic and service areas throughout the institution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education, communication, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in student services, recruitment, or academic advising (preferred).
